Job summary

IBU Consulting Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Engineer (AMS Support) to manage multi-component SAP landscapes, ensuring system availability and SLA adherence within the AMS practice.

The role covers SAP ECC/S/4HANA, HANA, Fiori, BTP, CHARM, and ITIL-aligned change processes, with a 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM IST shift and locations in Bengaluru, Pune, Chennai, and Hyderabad.

Qualifications

• 6 to 9+ years of core SAP BASIS administration experience.
• Hands-on expertise in SAP HANA database operations, STMS release pipelines, and end-to-end system refresh lifecycles.
• Working knowledge of SAP BTP, SAP Fiori, Solution Manager (ChaRM), or SAP PI/PO interfaces.
• Strong familiarity with ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily health checks, continuous monitoring, and incident/problem resolution across SAP ECC, S/4HANA, OS, database, and network touchpoints.
• Manage transport requests and release cycles using STMS; execute system refreshes, client copies, kernel upgrades, and support package implementations.
• Oversee SAP HANA database administration, including service monitoring, backup/recovery verification, security management, and alert resolution via HANA Studio and HANA Cockpit.
• Administer integration layers, including SAP Fiori, Web Dispatcher, SAP BTP (Cloud Connector, subaccounts, cTMS), and RFC/IDoc/BAPI interfaces.
• Execute change management processes within SAP Solution Manager in adherence to ITIL standards and contractual SLAs.

Engagement Overview:

The consultant will manage multi-component enterprise SAP landscapes, ensuring operational SLA adherence, system availability, and seamless lifecycle maintenance.

Core Responsibilities:
