Job summary

TekWissen is seeking a Senior SAP Basis & Security Consultant with 6-8 years of hands-on experience to manage SAP landscapes, ensure availability, and enforce security controls across development, QA, and production environments.

The role covers installation, upgrades, patching, database administration (HANA/Oracle/Sybase), performance tuning, TMS, RFCs, and cloud support (AWS/Azure/GCP). Strong SoD and audit experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP Basis and Security implementation, administration, and production support activities.
• Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain SAP systems across Development, QA, and Production environments.
• Manage and optimize SAP databases (SAP HANA, Oracle, Sybase), including backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
• Monitor system health, workload, memory utilization, buffer optimization, and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Administer SAP Transport Management System (TMS) and transport lifecycle processes.
• Manage background jobs, spool administration, RFCs, interfaces, and connectivity.
• Support SAP environments hosted on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Design and maintain SAP Security roles (Single, Composite, and Derived Roles).
• Handle user provisioning, role assignments, password administration, and deprovisioning.
• Ensure compliance with audit requirements, authorization controls, and Segregation of Duties (SoD).
• Provide root cause analysis, issue resolution, and technical documentation.
