Job summary

Itmc Systems is seeking a SAP BASIS Senior Consultant in Navi Mumbai to manage end-to-end SAP BASIS activities. The role requires hands-on design, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of the SAP environment with focus on reliability and performance.

You will lead upgrades and migrations, coordinate with stakeholders and ensure compliance, data security, and efficient operation of SAP systems across on-premise or cloud hosting platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of SAP BASIS experience.
• 2-3 end-to-end implementation projects including upgrade/migration of ECC/HANA on premise or cloud IaaS hosting (Azure, AWS & GCP).
• Hands-on design, configuring, monitoring, tuning, testing and troubleshooting of SAP technical environment; SAP transport system and batch management.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP BASIS design, configuration, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate and execute SAP transport system and batch management tasks.
• Guide other consultants and accelerate turnaround on complex cases.

Job description

SAP BASIS SENIOR CONSULTANT

• 10+ years of SAP BASIS experience with at least 2-3 end-to-end implementation project, upgrade/migration project experience of ECC/ HANA system on premise or on Cloud IaaS hosting (Azure, AWS & GCP)
• Hands on experience in design, configuring, monitoring, tuning, test and troubleshooting the SAP technical environment on an ongoing basis as well as scheduling and executing the SAP transport system and batch management.
• Guide other consultants and help fasten turnaround for ongoing and complex cases
• Represent BASIS in Stakeholder/ Relationship meetings; Coordinate and work with the SAP Compliance team to ensure that system and data security guidelines are adhered to in the design and set up of the SAP environment. Similarly interact with development teams, configuration teams, various technical support teams, and business stakeholders to optimize and maintain the overall SAP reliability, availability, and performance
• Perform SAP Database Administration - Space management, database reorganizations, design and implement backup and restore strategy, maintain database security, administer database performance, database problem determination and resolution, etc
• Perform SAP Installation, Post installation, client administration, System Refresh and Post-Refresh activities as required.
• Perform parameter modification, Buffer, memory management, performance tuning and troubleshoot. Perform SAP Licensing - Identify inactive user, user classification and prepare System Measurement result / reports for system monitoring.
• Development and maintenance of policies and procedures relating to operation and support of the SAP environment covering change management, including backup/restore, disaster recovery, audit and in conjunction with the hosting team maintenance of the technical infrastructure reference documents such as technical architecture, interface references, hardware, and software assets.
• Lead and coordinate with third parties the troubleshooting and resolution of problems related to performance issues
• Participate in the planning and implementation of SAP system upgrades
• Certification is preferred
