Job summary

Protiviti India seeks an experienced SAP Consultant to lead and support the installation and optimization of SAP S/4HANA systems. Ideal candidates should possess 2-5 years of SAP consulting experience and hands-on experience with cloud-based environments including SAP RAISE.

Responsibilities include executing ECC to S/4HANA migration projects and ensuring system reliability. Candidates with SAP S/4HANA certification are preferred.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and support installation, configuration, integration, upgrade, testing, and optimization of SAP S/4HANA systems.
• Hands on cloud-based environments like SAP RAISE and SAP PUBLIC CLOUD
• Execute ECC to S/4HANA migration projects, including system conversion and data migration.
• Administer SAP BTP and other cloud-based SAP environments.
• Perform performance tuning, problem analysis, and system administration for SAP HANA databases and SAP instances.
• Conduct client copies, system refreshes, and troubleshoot SAP system issues.
• Manage SAP Correction and Transport System (CTS) and SAP Security protocols.
• Implement and support Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions for portal and backend systems.
• Develop and execute SAP data archiving strategies aligned with enterprise goals.
• Review and apply recommendations from SAP Early Watch reports.
• Collaborate with SAP development, configuration, and infrastructure teams to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Identify and present opportunities for productivity improvement, cost reduction, and quality enhancement within the SAP landscape.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Provide technical expertise and functional insights into SAP BASIS systems and applications.
• Research and propose innovative SAP technologies to solve business challenges.

Preferred candidate profile

1. 2-5 years of SAP consulting experience
2. Experience in at least one Green field/Brown field SAP implementation project
3. Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA (Cloud, Rise/Grow with SAP, On-Premise)
4. Experience in AMS Support engagements which includes handling Incidents, Service/Change Requests
5. Strong functional or technical expertise in the respective SAP module
6. SAP S/4HANA certification(s) will be an added advantage.
