Wipro is recruiting for an SAP BASIS RISE Migration Expert to lead the technical strategy and execution of complex SAP transformations to S/4HANA under RISE with SAP. The role focuses on Brownfield/Greenfield migrations, data governance, and cloud infrastructure planning.

The candidate will coordinate with clients and SAP delivery teams, drive OS/DB migrations, S/4HANA conversions, and system upgrades, and ensure high data integrity with minimal downtime.

Qualifications

• Experience leading SAP migrations to S/4HANA (Brownfield/Greenfield).
• Strong background in RISE with SAP packages and cloud migrations.
• Data governance and migration strategy experience.
• Familiarity with cloud infra (AWS/Azure/GCP) for SAP.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end migration strategies for RISE projects.
• Act as technical lead interfacing with clients and SAP delivery teams.
• Lead OS/DB migrations, S/4HANA conversions and upgrades.
• Define data migration strategies including cleansing and validation.
• Advise on infrastructure setups with hyperscalers (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Hiring for SAP BASIS RISE Migration Expert

Role Overview:

The Migration Architect will lead the technical strategy and execution of complex SAP transformation projects from legacy environments to SAP S/4HANA under the RISE with SAP model, ensuring minimal downtime and high data integrity. Migration Architect (RISE) defines technical, data, and functional strategies for migrating ECC/legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA Private/Public Cloud S/4HANA conversions (Brownfield/Greenfield), expertise in RISE with SAP packages, IaaS providers (AWS/Azure/GCP), and HANA database management.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy & Architecture: Design and implement end-to-end migration strategies (Brownfield, Greenfield, or Selective Data Transition) for RISE projects.
• RISE Technical Lead: Act as the primary technical advisor for the RISE contract, interfacing between the client and SAP delivery teams.
• Technical Migration: Lead OS/DB migrations, S/4HANA conversions, and system upgrades.
• Data Migration & Governance: Define data migration strategies, including scoping, cleansing, and validation using tools like SAP LT Replication Server (SLT).
• Infrastructure Management: Evaluate and guide on infrastructure setups with Hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Stakeholder Management: Present technical roadmaps and architectural decisions to C-level stakeholders.

Technical Expertise

• Strong proficiency in S/4HANA administration.
• Experience with SAP Fiori configuration and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Solution Manager 7.2 (Solman), SAP Cloud ALM, or CHARM.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP integration and services.
• Deep knowledge of SAP HANA database, SAP Fiori, and NetWeaver.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a client-facing mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP Activate methodology (If Poss)
• Knowledge of GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance).
• Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
