Job summary

Agile DNA, LLC is seeking an experienced SAP HANA Basis Consultant to lead SAP Basis, S/4HANA, and HANA database administration, with hands-on migration experience in RISE with SAP environments.

The role involves system monitoring, performance management, upgrades, and migration activities across ECC and S/4HANA landscapes, including hyperscaler deployments. Collaboration with security, cloud, and infra teams is essential for high availability and successful cutovers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in SAP HANA, SAP Basis, and S/4HANA environments.
• Experience with RISE with SAP migrations and hyperscaler deployments.
• Proficiency in system monitoring, performance management, and troubleshooting of SAP landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Perform SAP Basis administration for SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Provide hands-on administration and support for SAP HANA databases.
• Work on S/4HANA implementation, migration, upgrade, and support activities.
• Experience with RISE with SAP environments and migration projects.
• Participate in system migration to RISE with SAP / hyperscaler environments.
• Perform system installation, configuration, upgrades, patches, kernel upgrades, and support package activities.
• Monitor SAP systems, HANA databases, interfaces, jobs, system performance, and availability.
• Troubleshoot SAP Basis and HANA-related issues and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.
• Manage transports across SAP landscapes and support change management activities.
• Work with SAP security, networking, infrastructure, cloud, and functional teams as required.
• Support high availability, backup/recovery, disaster recovery, and performance activities.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and migration-related documents.
• Provide technical support during critical incidents, releases, upgrades, and migration cutovers.

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced SAP HANA Basis Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Basis, SAP S/4HANA, HANA Database Administration, and RISE with SAP migration. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience supporting SAP environments and managing S/4HANA migration/transformation projects, particularly in RISE with SAP environments. The candidate will be responsible for SAP technical administration, system monitoring, performance management, troubleshooting, upgrades, and migration activities.

Perform SAP Basis administration for SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Experience with SAP S/4HANA conversion or migration projects.


2. Exposure to hyper scaler/cloud environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.


3. Knowledge of SAP HANA backup, recovery, replication, and HA/DR concepts.


4. Experience working in large‑scale enterprise SAP landscapes.


5. Good communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
