Job summary

Cencora Business Services India Private Limited is hiring an Administrator III to lead SAP Basis, BTP and HANA activities. The role focuses on SAP landscapes across on-premises and Azure cloud, with emphasis on HA, DR and performance tuning.

You will collaborate with infra teams, drive change management, and guide architecture across complex SAP environments. The candidate should have 7+ years of relevant experience, strong communication, and the ability to work across time zones.

Qualifications

• Provide ongoing support for SAP BTP applications and resolve SAP-related issues.
• Architect HA setups for SAP HANA DB and SAP Central Services, using Linux Pacemaker or similar.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to optimise SAP workloads in Azure.
• Lead projects, create runbooks, project plans and architecture diagrams.

Administrator III - System & Applications Administration

• 1. 7+ years of overall experience
• 2. Primary point of contact for all SAP Basis issues related to the SAP environment and performs related duties as assigned.
• 3. Exposure to SAP landscapes (ECC, S4HANA, Solman, PI/PO, LVM, RMJ, Router, CC) across on-premises, public and private cloud environments, mostly Azure.
• 4. Good understanding of SLES and RHEL and ability to architect HA setup involving Linux Pacemaker and similar supported HA solutions for SAP HANA DB and SAP Central Services.
• 5. work closely with infrastructure teams (Server, compute, security) to troubleshoot and resolve problems and suggest best practices of running SAP workloads in Azure.
• 6. Understanding of SAP Networking requirements involving, External and Internal connectivity to SAP and other applications using Proxy, Load Balancer, Application g/w, creating requests to get Firewall rules and NSG rules needed by the application.
• 7. Provide performance tuning, problem analysis for SAP instances. Ideally cloud based deployment experience mostly Azure.
• 8. Will participate in the IT Change Management process and validate/approval all SAP related changes.
• 9. Good communication skills, Ability to work in a team and work flexible hours to support engagements in different time zones.
• 10. BTP Platform knowledge in areas of configuration, integration, SSO, create subaccounts etc. including in depth knowledge of SAP BTP services (CPI, MRM, event mesh).
• 11. Experience with SAP BTP services, SAP Integration suite and SAP extension suite.
• 12. Design and implement integration between SAP BTP and other SAP or non-SAP systems.
• 13. Stay up to date with the latest SAP BTP technologies and drive innovation by proposing new tools and technologies.
• 14. Provide ongoing support for SAP BTP applications, resolving technical issues and ensuring optimal performance.
• 15. Monitor and optimize the performance of applications on SAP BTP, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• 16. Exposure to Cloud ALM and transition from Solman to Cloud ALM.
• 17. BTP certification – Added advantage.
• 18. HANA expertise : provide expert level guidance on SAP HANA database administration, High availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), performance tuning, security, workload, and data volume management.
• 19. Good exposure in HANA Database upgrades, table partitioning, pacemaker clusters.
• 20. Handle HANA troubleshooting: HANA replication, participate in failover/failback drills, slow queries, expensive statements, table growth, log segment issues, backup failure.
• 21. HANA Certification – added advantage.
• 22. Experience with large scale SAP deployments On-Prem and cloud, Migrations to Cloud.
• 23. Understanding of SAP Networking requirements involving, External and Internal connectivity to SAP and other applications using Proxy, LoadBalancer, Application g/w, creating requests to get Firewall rules and NSG rules needed by the application.
• 24. Ability to lead projects independently and create runbooks, project plans, and engage stakeholders efficiently.
• 25. Create Architecture diagrams, HLD, LLD and document the overall solution.
• 26. Sound knowledge of all BASIS activities Refresh, Upgrades, Certificates etc.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience.

Preferred Certifications:

Salesforce Certified Administrator Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) Microsoft Certified IT Professional ITIL, ITSM Certifications

WORK EXPERIENCE:

4+ years of directly-related or relevant experience, preferably in application support or system/application/database administration.
