Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. seeks a SAP Basis Consultant to join our team in Bangalore. The role requires strong communication skills and experience in SAP Basis administration, including support packages, printer configuration, and system logs.

The consultant will work across ECC, PI, BW, APO, and GATP environments, with typical activities such as log cleanup, system monitoring, and backups. Shift rotations are required: 6AM–2PM, 2PM–10PM, or 10PM–6AM, to align with project needs.

Consultant needs to work in Multiple shifts6AM to 2PMor 2PM to 10PM or10PM to 6AM shift need to swap based on the project requirement and needs to have a good communication skills.

SAP Basis Technical for Traditional AMS Services. Excellent Communication skills.
should have worked on Support projects, upgrade/ OS/DB migration,

Must have: SAP Administration, Support packages, Printer config, BEx installation, Solution Manager
will need to support ECC, PI, BW. APO, GATP BODS systems

Good to have: Azure, cloud, Sybase & MAXDB database
Preferred: SAP Basis certifications

• ,Memory Management: Page In / Pages Out, Memory Management: Ext. Memory/ Roll In/ Out etc.
• ,Installing SAP License, Configuring the System Log, Setting Up Logon Groups
• ,Installing Printers, Sending System Messages, Profile Generator: Maintaining Activity Groups/ Roles
• ,Operation mode maintenance, Activities on SAP Net, Management of the Transport Management System (TMS)
• ,Scheduling Jobs, Support Package/ Add-ons, System Profiles and its maintenance
• ,Client Maintenance, Automatic Note application through SNOTE, Printer Configuration
• ,Backup Scheduling thru DB13 and monitoring thru DB12, SCOT monitoring
• ,Searching for Missing Indexes, Monitoring the Growth of Extents, Checking Database Performance
• ,Extending the Database (Adding Data Files),Making changes in Oracle Parameters based on recommendation from L3 experts for performance optimization.
• ,Checking and Managing CBO statistics.
