Job summary

Forward Eye Technologies is seeking an experienced SAP APO Consultant with deep GATP and TVPS expertise to design, configure, and implement advanced planning solutions. The role involves integrating APO with ECC/S4HANA and driving optimization across the supply chain while supporting end users and creating comprehensive documentation.

The candidate should have 8+ years of SAP APO experience, including at least two full-cycle implementations, and strong skills in DP, SNP, PP/DS, and ABAP

Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP APO experience, including at least 2 full-cycle implementations.
• In-depth expertise in GATP features such as product allocation, ATP checks, backorder processing, and substitution logic.
• Hands-on experience in TVPS, including transportation scheduling, resource management, and route optimization.
• Strong knowledge of CIF integration between APO and ECC/S4HANA.
• Proficiency in SAP APO modules like DP, SNP, and PP/DS is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with ABAP debugging to support custom enhancements.
• Certifications (Preferred): SAP Certified Application Professional - SAP APO GATP; SAP Supply Chain Certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement SAP APO solutions focusing on GATP and TVPS functionalities.
• Integrate SAP APO with ECC/S4HANA and other third-party systems; optimize planning processes across the supply chain.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions; perform gap analysis and provide innovative solutions.
• Provide end-user training and post-implementation support for GATP and TVPS; create documentation including functional specifications, test cases, and training materials.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of advanced planning processes and hands-on experience in configuring APO modules to streamline supply chain and transportation operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Configuration:
  • Design, configure, and implement solutions in SAP APO, focusing on GATP and TVPS functionalities.
  • Configure and manage rule-based ATP, product allocation, backorder processing, and substitutions within GATP.
  • Set up and optimize transportation scheduling and vehicle planning in TVPS.
• Integration & Optimization:
  • Integrate SAP APO with ECC/S4HANA and other third-party systems.
  • Develop and implement optimization strategies for planning processes across the supply chain.
  • Enhance system performance through effective troubleshooting and fine-tuning.
• Business Process Improvement:
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Conduct gap analysis and provide innovative solutions to complex supply chain scenarios.
  • Implement best practices in supply chain planning and execution.
• Support & Documentation:
  • Provide end-user training and post-implementation support for GATP and TVPS modules.
