Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP APO experience, including at least 2 full-cycle implementations.
• GATP features such as product allocation, ATP checks, backorder processing, and substitution logic.
• Hands-on experience in TVPS: transportation scheduling, resource management, and route optimization.
• CIF integration between APO and ECC/S4HANA.
• ABAP debugging for custom enhancements.

Responsibilities

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SAP APO Consultant with expertise in Global Available-to-Promise (GATP) and Transportation and Vehicle Planning Scheduling (TVPS). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of advanced planning processes and hands-on experience in configuring APO modules to streamline supply chain and transportation operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Configuration:
  • Design, configure, and implement solutions in SAP APO, focusing on GATP and TVPS functionalities.
  • Configure and manage rule-based ATP, product allocation, backorder processing, and substitutions within GATP.
  • Set up and optimize transportation scheduling and vehicle planning in TVPS.
• Integration & Optimization:
  • Integrate SAP APO with ECC/S4HANA and other third-party systems.
  • Develop and implement optimization strategies for planning processes across the supply chain.
  • Enhance system performance through effective troubleshooting and fine-tuning.
• Business Process Improvement:
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Conduct gap analysis and provide innovative solutions to complex supply chain scenarios.
  • Implement best practices in supply chain planning and execution.
• Support & Documentation:
  • Provide end-user training and post-implementation support for GATP and TVPS modules.
  • Create comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, test cases, and training materials.

Qualifications

• Experience:
  • 8+ years of SAP APO experience, including at least 2 full-cycle implementations.
  • In-depth expertise in GATP features such as product allocation, ATP checks, backorder processing, and substitution logic.
  • Hands-on experience in TVPS, including transportation scheduling, resource management, and route optimization.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of CIF integration between APO and ECC/S4HANA.
  • Proficiency in SAP APO modules like DP, SNP, and PP/DS is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with ABAP debugging to support custom enhancements.
• Certifications (Preferred):
  • SAP Certified Application Professional - SAP APO GATP.
  • SAP Supply Chain Certification or equivalent.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
