Job summary

Momento Cybertech Solutions in Bengaluru, Karnataka, seeks an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to design, build, and maintain ABAP applications and reports. • Strong debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills, with customer-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and modify SAP ABAP applications and reports.
• Collaborate with functional teams to gather and analyze requirements and write technical specs.
• Design and develop RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).
• Apply enhancements using User Exits, BAPIs, BADIs, and Enhancement Spots.
• Perform unit testing and support UAT and post-deployment phases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in SAP systems with minimal business disruption.
• Optimize ABAP programs and system performance.
• Adhere to coding standards and documentation guidelines throughout the SDLC.
• Stay updated on SAP technologies like S/4HANA, Fiori, and CDS views.
• Experience with integrating SAP with middleware and cloud platforms (SAP BTP).
• Participate in at least one full-cycle S/4HANA implementation or conversion.
• Develop CDS views and AMDP; familiarity with OData and SAP Fiori is a plus.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and customer-facing skills.

Role & responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and modify custom SAP applications and reports using the ABAP programming language.
• Collaborate with functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements and create detailed technical specifications.
• Design and develop RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows) objects.
• Utilize various enhancement techniques, including User Exits, Business Add-Ins (BAPIs, BADIs), and Enhancement Spots.
• Perform rigorous unit testing and provide support during user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-deployment phases.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in existing SAP systems, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Optimize system performance by fine‑tuning ABAP programs and identifying areas for improvement.
• Adhere to coding standards, best practices, and documentation guidelines throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Stay current with the latest SAP technologies and trends, such as SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, and CDS views.
• Experience with the Restful ABAP Programming (RAP) model or ABAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM).
• Knowledge of integrating SAP with middleware and cloud platforms (SAP BTP).
• Prior participation in at least one full‑cycle S/4HANA implementation or system conversion project.
• Strong knowledge and working experience in developing CDS views and AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures).
• Familiarity with OData services development/consumption and the SAP Fiori interface is a plus.
