Job summary

Birlasoft, based in Noida, India, seeks an SAP ABAP Technical Lead with 7-8 years of SAP development experience including ABAP, S/4HANA, CDS Views, Fiori, IDOCs and HANA native development.

You will design, develop, test, and support ABAP solutions, build RICEF objects, and enhance CDS Views and Fiori apps, coordinating with functional teams and supporting upgrades to S/4HANA.

Qualifications

• 7-8 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
• Expert in ABAP/OOABAP, CDS Views, SAP Fiori and OData.
• Experience with IDOCs, RFC, BAPI, ALE/EDI.
• HANA native development and S/4HANA upgrades.
• Knowledge of ChaRM, SPDD/SPAU, and OSS Notes.
• Strong debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; CET shift readiness; based in India.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support SAP ABAP solutions.
• Develop RICEF objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows.
• Develop and enhance CDS Views, OData Services, Fiori applications, and HANA-based developments.
• Prepare technical specifications and collaborate with functional and technical teams.
• Support S/4HANA upgrades, SPDD/SPAU activities, and OSS Note implementations.
• Manage transports and releases using SAP ChaRM.
• Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, performance tuning, testing, cutover, and post-go-live support.

SAP ABAP Technical Lead

Position Description: Seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Senior Consultant with 7-8 years of strong SAP development experience in ABAP, S/4HANA, CDS Views, Fiori, IDOCs, and HANA Native Development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support SAP ABAP solutions.
• Develop RICEF objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows.
• Develop and enhance CDS Views, OData Services, Fiori applications, and HANA-based developments.
• Prepare technical specifications and collaborate with functional and technical teams.
• Support S/4HANA upgrades, SPDD/SPAU activities, and OSS Note implementations.
