Job summary

Invenio is seeking a senior SAP ABAP consultant with 6-8 years of SAP experience, including multiple S4H ABAP implementations. The role focuses on ABAP on HANA, OData debugging, and complex integrations (REST, RFC, IDOC, XML).

You will lead module configurations, data migration activities, and enhancement work while ensuring high-quality delivery. The candidate should be proficient in ABAP Proxy, SAP APIs, AMDP/CDS, and have strong debugging skills to resolve issues across landscapes.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of SAP experience with at least 2 S4H ABAP implementations.
• Proficient in ABAP on HANA, ABAP 7.5, and RICEFW development.
• Strong debugging, OData, and integration skills (REST API, RFC, IDOC, XML).
• Experience with SAP Activate methodology and module integration.
• Knowledge of data migration tools (LSMW, BDC, BAPI) and SAP function modules.

Responsibilities

• Lead work streams and defect analysis with fix implementations.
• Provide SIT/UAT/Cutover/Hypercare support and liaise with teams.
• Design reusable frameworks and manage change requests.
• Guide customers on release strategy and use of Service Marketplace.
• Mentor others and ensure timely, quality project delivery.

Job description

• Min. 2 implementation experiences on S4H ABAP.
• Experience with ABAP 7.5 coding standards and RICEFW Development using ABAP on HANA.
• Leads detailed module-specific configuration and master data development.
• Must be highly proficient with OData debugging and locating the issue.
• Understands Web / Enterprise Services including ABAP Proxy and SAP API’s.
• Experience with integration techniques like Rest API, ABAP Proxy, RFC, IDOC & XML, and integration of software solutions within company environments and external landscapes.
• Proficient on ABAP on HANA, AMDP & CDS views.
• Expertise in enhancing standard SAP functionality leveraging standard enhancements framework –user exists, Business Transaction Events (BTE), Business Add Ins (BADI), Enhancement Spots (Implicit & Explicit).
• Good knowledge in developing Data migration programs and using related tools like LSMW, BDC, BAPI's and SAP Function Module including RFC Function Module.
• Strong experience in ABAP troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Understands functional and technical specifications in detail.
