Job summary

V2 Retail Ltd in Gurugram is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with 5+ years of hands-on development across multiple SAP modules. You will design, build, and maintain ABAP programs, interfaces, forms, and reports, and work on complex custom developments, enhancements, and integrations.

Collaborate with FI, MM, SD, PP, WM, HR teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, support data migration using LSMW, BAPIs, IDocs, and contribute to performance tuning and S/4HANA

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• Expertise in OO ABAP, Enhancements, BADI, User Exits, BAPIs, RFCs.
• Strong experience in multiple SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, WM, HR).
• Knowledge of Data Dictionary, ABAP Debugging, and Performance Optimization.
• Experience with SmartForms, Adobe Forms, ALV, Workflows.
• Hands-on experience with IDoc/ALE, BDC, and LSMW.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Work on RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).
• Develop custom objects using ABAP/OO, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, ALV Reports, and User Exits/BADIs.
• Collaborate with functional teams (FI, MM, SD, PP, WM, HR, etc.) to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support data migration and conversion activities using LSMW, BAPIs, and IDocs.
• Work on performance tuning and ensure ABAP code quality standards.
• Participate in integration projects involving ALE/IDoc, RFC, Web Services, and OData.
• Provide support for S/4HANA custom developments (CDS Views, AMDP, Fiori integration, OData services).
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth system operations.
• Prepare technical documentation, unit test cases, and support UAT.
• Mentor junior developers and provide best practice guidance.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with strong development skills and hands-on exposure across multiple SAP modules. The candidate should be capable of handling complex custom developments, enhancements, and integrations while working closely with functional consultants and business users to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs, enhancements, forms, reports, and interfaces.
• Work on RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).

• SAP Certification in ABAP.
• Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments.
