ROLE: SAP ABAP EDI

BASE LOCATION: Hyderabad

PURPOSE:

The incumbent will serve as a technical expert in SAP ABAP EDI integrations, ensuring rapid issue resolution and timely solutions. The role involves close collaboration with regional ABAP and EDI teams and stakeholders to meet performance objectives.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Act as the technical expert in EDI integrations, ensuring quick identification and resolution of application issues.
• Collaborate with functional teams to define data conversion requirements.
• Set up ALE and IDOC, and distribute transactional data.
• Develop detailed plans and estimates for build, testing, and deployment phases.
• Develop, document, and execute unit, system, integration, and acceptance tests.
• Perform performance tuning to enhance system performance.
• Engage with technical team members in designing, delivering, and deploying solutions.
• Monitor system activities to meet SLAs, focusing on scalability, availability, and archiving.
• Provide guidance and training to junior team members.

QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES:

EDUCATION: Technical background required; specific educational qualifications are flexible.

EXPERIENCE:

• 4 to 6 years of ABAP experience.
• Experience working with IDoc.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to write technical specifications.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
