Quadric Information Technology Private Limited is recruiting four SAP ABAP developers in Hyderabad to design, develop, and support custom ABAP objects around standard SAP modules. You will work on reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of SAP ABAP experience on ECC/S/4HANA, strong debugging skills, and familiarity with IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and OData. UK shift with collaboration with UK stakeholders is expected.

Competenze

• 8+ years SAP experience with hands-on ABAP on live systems.

We are growing our Hyderabad SAP team and are looking for experienced specialists who want to own their area of expertise and work directly with UK-based business and IT stakeholders.

Role Summary

Quadric IT is hiring four experienced SAP ABAP developers to build and support the custom objects that sit around standard SAP: reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms and workflows. Good ABAP work fills real business gaps while keeping systems stable, performant and upgradeable.

In this role you will turn functional specifications from SD, MM, FI/CO, PP, PM and other consultants into well-designed, tested ABAP solutions. You will also support production issues, review code quality and help move custom development towards modern, maintainable techniques where the landscape supports them.

Key Responsibilities

Development and enhancement

• Design, build and unit-test custom ABAP objects: reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms and workflows (RICEFW).
• Implement enhancements using the appropriate framework (user exits, BAdIs, enhancement points) and avoid unnecessary modifications to standard code.
• Develop interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs and OData services, working with integration teams where middleware is involved.
• Build data models and reports using Core Data Services (CDS) views where the system release supports them.

Quality and performance

• Write object-oriented, readable and documented code that follows agreed development standards and naming conventions.
• Analyse and fix performance issues using SQL traces, runtime analysis and code inspection tools.
• Take part in code reviews and give clear technical feedback to other developers.

Support and collaboration

• Resolve production defects and change requests within agreed service levels, including root-cause analysis and transport management.
• Work closely with functional consultants to clarify specifications, estimate effort and propose simpler technical options.
• Prepare technical specifications and support unit, integration and regression testing.

Required Skills And Experience

• 8+ years of relevant SAP experience, mainly in hands-on ABAP development on live SAP systems.
• Strong skills in ABAP Objects, Open SQL, ALV reporting, enhancements (BAdIs, user exits, enhancement points) and debugging.
• Practical experience with interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs and/or OData services.
• Experience with forms (Smart Forms and/or Adobe Forms) and with performance analysis and tuning.
• Working understanding of the business processes behind the objects you build, in at least two functional areas.
• Experience developing on SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA, using ABAP Development Tools (Eclipse) as well as the classic workbench.

Preferred Skills (nice To Have)

• ABAP for SAP S/4HANA: CDS views, AMDP and the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
• Clean core and extensibility principles for SAP S/4HANA.
• Workflow development.
• Exposure to SAP BTP or side‑side extensions.

WAYS OF WORKING

• Work from our Hyderabad location on UK shift hours, collaborating daily with UK-based business users, process owners and IT teams.
• Work alongside other SAP functional and technical consultants (FI, MM, LE, ABAP and integration) to deliver end-to-end solutions rather than isolated configuration.
• Follow structured delivery practices: documented requirements, controlled configuration changes, test evidence and clear hand-over notes.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

You are a senior ABAP developer who writes code other people can maintain. You understand the business process behind a specification, push back when a simpler solution exists, and can fix a production issue under pressure without creating the next one.
