Job summary

Laurus Labs in Hyderabad, India seeks an SAP ABAP Developer to drive data dictionary objects, reports, and SAP interfaces in a fast-paced environment.

The role focuses on RICEF development, API integration, and performance tuning, with emphasis on SNOTE implementation and SMARTFORMS design for scalable enterprise solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with ABAP and business process understanding.
• Strong RICEF development including conversions, enhancements, and forms.
• Data migration and integration using BAPI, RFC, and IDoc.
• API development for SAP Fiori front ends (OData/REST).
• SQL performance tuning for large enterprise workloads.

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

• Creating Data Dictionary Objects.
• Developing new custom reports as per the business requirements.
• Designing of Scripts for cheque printing generated from SAP.

Preferred candidate profile

• Knowledge on ABAP program Business Process understanding
• RICEF Development: Expertise in building custom RI Conversions Conversions IConversions, Conversions, Enhancements (User Exits, BAdIs), and Forms.
• Data Migration & Integration: Proficient in using BAPIs (Business Application Programming Interfaces), RFCs (Remote Function Calls), and IDocs to integrate SAP with external systems.
• API Development: Designing OData services and building RESTful APIs to feed data to SAP Fiori front ends
• Performance Optimization: Tracing and optimizing database queries using SQL tuning techniques to ensure fast execution during heavy enterprise loads
