Job summary

Sony in Bangalore seeks an experienced SAP ABAP HANA Developer/Consultant to design, develop, and optimize ABAP applications in an HANA environment. You will work with CDS Views, OData services, AMDP, and SAP interfaces to deliver robust solutions.

Responsibilities include performance tuning, ABAP enhancements, UIs via Adobe Forms, and collaborating with functional teams to meet business requirements. ABAP OO and SAP development standards apply.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAP ABAP development in HANA environments.
• Experience with CDS views, OData, AMDP and IDocs/Proxies.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP OO principles and SAP development standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain SAP ABAP applications in a SAP HANA environment.
• Develop and optimize ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and custom objects.
• Work on CDS Views, OData services, and AMDP procedures to support business requirements.
• Develop and maintain SAP interfaces using IDocs, Proxies, and other integration technologies.
• Implement user exits, BAdIs, enhancements, and other custom development solutions.
• Develop and maintain Adobe Forms for business documents and reporting requirements.
• Apply Object-Oriented ABAP (OOPS) principles to build reusable and maintainable solutions.
• Perform performance tuning and debugging of ABAP programs and HANA-based applications.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business teams, and technical stakeholders.
• Support unit testing, integration testing, defect resolution, and production issues.
• Follow SAP development standards, documentation practices, and quality guidelines.
