Job summary

Technoble Consulting Services in Bengaluru seeks an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with 6–8 years of hands-on ABAP development. The role focuses on programming, debugging, BAPI, BDC, IDOC, and job scheduling to support our MNC client’s processes.

Responsibilities include reports, Smartforms, and script development, interface handling, and ensuring smooth job execution. Morning/rotational shifts and collaboration with overseas teams are part of the role.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of SAP ABAP experience with strong debugging skills.
• Experience with BAPI, BDC, IDOC and job scheduling.
• Good understanding of SAP SD/MM processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional ABAP development and support for SAP modules.
• Handle interfaces, file processing, IDOCs and job scheduling tasks.
• Create reports, BDCs, and manage session failures and error handling.
• Coordinate with offshore/overseas teams as needed.

Having Good Business process and Functional Support knowledge for SAP ABAP module in the areas programming, debugging knowledge, BAPI, BDC, IDOC, Jobs etc.

Primary Skills

Having Good Business process and Functional Support knowledge for SAP ABAP module in the areas programming, debugging knowledge, BAPI, BDC, IDOC, Jobs etc.

• Good debugging knowledge and experience in advanced debugger is preferred.
• Interfaces (IN&OUT, file based interfaces) and interface file handling and IDOCS
• BAPIs and RFCs
• Jobs handling (scheduling, job failures handling)
• Reports, BDC & Session Failures
• Smartform & Scripts
• Enhancements and job scheduling and error handling knowledge
• Understanding of SAP SD / MM process would be preferred

• Flexible to work in Morning shift / General shifts
• Able to support Month end activity along with Functional member
• Experience in atleast one implementation project
• Should have good oral and written communication skills
• Should have working experience with overseas customer (If worked with any Eastern countries is a welcome)
• Should have good attitude and team bonding and a good team player
• Should have good analytical skills, taking ownership and self learning / exploring capabilities to reduce dependency on others and working independently
• Should be able to take up on-call Support which will be given on rotational basis and as per roster
• As we are supporting East side and SG region and Dubai region, should be willing to work in any shift: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM shift or 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM shift (all hours in IST) as per roster.
