Job summary

Sage Technologies in Jajpur, Odisha, is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant to join immediately. The role focuses on designing, developing, testing, and supporting SAP ABAP applications in collaboration with business users.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of hands-on ABAP experience, is ready for immediate joining, and will handle reports, interfaces, forms, and data dictionary tasks as part of ECC/S/4HANA projects.

Qualifications

• Strong SAP ABAP development experience.
• Hands-on ALV Reports, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, Adobe Forms.
• Experience with Enhancements, User Exits, BADI, BTE.
• Knowledge of IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, BDC, LSMW.
• Debugging and performance optimization expertise.
• Solid understanding of SAP Data Dictionary.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, forms, and workflows.
• Design and develop RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
• Work on Data Dictionary objects, ALV Reports, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms.
• Develop interfaces using IDoc, BAPI, RFC, BDC, and LSMW.
• Perform debugging, performance tuning, and code optimization.
• Collaborate with functional teams to gather and understand business requirements.
• Prepare technical specifications and documentation.
• Support SAP implementation, upgrade, rollout, and enhancement projects.
• Resolve production issues and provide ongoing support.
