Job summary

NTT DATA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS is seeking a SAP ABAP developer with 5 years of experience to join our Hyderabad team. You will implement full-cycle SAP ABAP projects, build CDS views and OData services, and develop interfaces (IDOC, ALE, APIs).

You will guide junior developers, perform code reviews, and ensure clean core compliance with RAP for Fiori/UI5 where applicable. The role requires strong problem-solving, leadership, and effective collaboration with architects and functional teams, along

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development
• Experience with full-cycle SAP ABAP implementations
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori/UI5 is a plus
• Strong analytical and leadership skills, capable of guiding junior developers
• Experience with ATC, transport management, and Agile/Scrum methodologies

Responsibilities

• Create RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows) using ABAP OO and modern standards
• Develop CDS Views, OData services, and RAP for Fiori applications
• Build interfaces (IDOC, ALE, APIs, RFCs) and optimize performance of existing codebase
• Guide junior developers, perform code reviews, define technical standards
• Collaborate with architects on solution design and troubleshoot production issues
• Support ATC checks, transports, and agile development processes
• Communicate effectively with functional teams and stakeholders

Job description

5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, including several full-cycle implementation projects.

Key Responsibilities includes:

• Create RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows) using ABAP Object-Oriented and modern standards.
• Develop CDS Views, OData services, and RAP for Fiori applications, aiming for "clean core" compliance.
• Build interfaces (IDOC, ALE, APIs, RFCs) and optimize existing codebase performance.
• Guide junior developers, perform code reviews, define technical standards, and collaborate with architects on solution design.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues, analyze dumps, and provide technical support
• Strong skills in Object-Oriented ABAP, CDS Views, OData, and enhancement techniques (BADIs, User Exits).
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Fiori elements, or UI5 development is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills, leadership capability, and communication skills for working with functional teams.
• Experience with ATC (ABAP Test Cockpit), SAP transport management, and Agile/Scrum methodology.
