Job summary

Be a Catalyst in Delhi is seeking a Senior SAP ABAP Consultant with 10+ years of hands-on experience to design, develop, and implement scalable ABAP solutions across SD, MM, FI, CO, PP, and HR. The role requires expertise in OO ABAP, API development, and end-to-end RICEF‑W objects.

You will work on REST/SOAP APIs, OData Services, and SAP NetWeaver Gateway, ensuring performance optimization and cross‑module integration while adhering to modern ABAP coding standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience
• Strong expertise in Object‑Oriented ABAP (OOPs) and modern ABAP programming
• Extensive experience in API Development & Integration
• Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, OData Services, and SAP NetWeaver Gateway
• End‑to‑end experience in RICEF‑W development
• Strong experience in Reports, Conversions, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows
• Experience in ALE / IDoc, BAPI, Enhancement Framework, BRF+, and BADIs
• Knowledge of ABAP Classes, Methods, Inheritance, Polymorphism, and Interfaces
• Experience in ABAP debugging and performance optimization
• Understanding of SAP module‑specific developments across SD, MM, FI, CO, PP, and HR
• Experience in technical specifications, testing, deployment, and documentation
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom ABAP solutions across SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI, CO, PP, and HR
• Develop and manage complete RICEF‑W objects, including Reports, Conversions, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows
• Develop Classical Reports and ALV Reports
• Work on data conversions using BDC and LSMW
• Develop interfaces using IDocs, Proxies, BAPIs, and APIs
• Implement User Exits, BADIs, and Enhancement Points
• Develop SmartForms and Adobe Forms
• Support Workflow development and BPM / BRF+ integration
• Design and implement RESTful and SOAP‑based APIs using SAP NetWeaver Gateway, OData Services, and Web Services
• Integrate SAP systems with external applications and third‑party platforms through standard and custom APIs
• Ensure security, error handling, and data consistency in API‑based integrations
• Develop reusable and scalable ABAP solutions using OOPs concepts such as Classes, Methods, Inheritance, Polymorphism, and Interfaces
• Apply design patterns and modern ABAP coding standards
• Perform ABAP performance tuning using Runtime Analysis and SQL Trace tools
• Collaborate with functional teams to understand requirements and prepare technical specifications
• Participate in SDLC activities, including design, development, unit testing, integration testing, documentation, and deployment
• Support UAT, go‑live, and post‑go‑live activities
