Salesforce System Administrator

Our Salesforce Center of Excellence (CoE) is the centralised team that designs, builds, and runs Salesforce solutions for a wide range of internal and partner-facing teams across Expedia Group. We provide a common platform, standards, and best practices so business and operations teams can rely on Salesforce for their day-to-day work. As part of this CoE, the Salesforce Engineering team is seeking a seasoned Salesforce Administrator. You'll join a group of administrators, engineers, and architects who work together to keep our Salesforce orgs secure, scalable, and easy to use. In this role you’ll partner closely with product and business stakeholders, design and implement solutions on Sales / Service / Experience Cloud, and help shape how we use Salesforce across Expedia Group. Introduction to the team

The Product Team creates high-quality end-to-end experiences for travelers, partners, and Expedia Group. Our focus on customer‑centric innovation enables us to develop products that build loyalty and repeat business. We partner closely with teams across Expedia Group to drive growth and achieve results for our customers and the company.

Here you will partner closely with various business teams to create and build functional operational support through the Salesforce application.

In this role you will:

• You will build customised solutions in Salesforce.com and associated systems that support business requirements and processes
• You will work with groups to understand their business processes and requirements
• Translate business requirements into logical, component‑based technical designs
• You will define technical solutions to support business work processes
• Create design and technical specification documentation
• You will drive resolution of all issues that come up during development phase
• You will clearly communicate project status to key partners throughout entire development process

Experience & Qualifications:

• 3+ Years of experience with bachelors/masters; or equivalent related professional experience
• Salesforce Certified Administrator
• Manage day-to-day administration of the Salesforce platform.
• Configure custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, flows, and approval processes.
• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics for business users.
• Maintain user roles, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.
• Able to work autonomously with minimal guidance
• Experience with GitHub and support deployment activities across environments.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes using Salesforce capabilities.
• Solid sense of customer focus and the importance of the voice of the customer
• Great communication skills and collaborates well within a team 2-5 years
• System Administrator experience with Salesforce.com or another CRM tool
• Consistent productivity and proven success as a project coordinator (2-5 years of experience)
• Experience in developing processes and creating user documentation
