Job summary

Alstom in Bengaluru seeks a Salesforce Services Technical Analyst to shape technical design and architecture for Salesforce Services Solutions. You will collaborate with ERP, Engineering, and Digital teams to rollout Salesforce applications and support Core Model evolutions.

You will manage technical designs, document solutions, and provide architectural expertise while working autonomously in a global, multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Graduated with an engineering degree, preferably in information technology.
• 4+ years of Salesforce experience including Lightning, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
• 1+ years of Salesforce architecture, design, and integration technologies (e.g., Platform Events, Connected Apps, Mobile SDK, SSO, OAuth, SOAP, REST, SOA).
• Salesforce Platform App Builder certification; Service Cloud Consultant certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Design and architect Salesforce Services Solutions aligned with the Core Model and business strategy.
• Support development and rollout of Salesforce applications across ERP, Engineering, and Digital teams.
• Manage and implement technical designs; lead release management activities.
• Provide technical expertise to operations teams and ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Collaborate with internal and external IS&T partners to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Your future role

You’ll play a key role in shaping the technical design and architecture of our Salesforce Services Solutions, ensuring they align with Alstoms core model and business strategy. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including ERP, Engineering, and Digital), support the development and rollout of Salesforce applications, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of managing and implementing technical designs, as well as supporting the delivery of Salesforce Services Core Model evolutions, but also provide technical expertise to operations teams when needed.

We’ll look to you for:

• Managing and implementing the technical design of Salesforce Service solutions in alignment with business strategies
• Ensuring the Salesforce Services Solutions’ Technical Core Model is well-documented and consistent
• Presenting analysis and detailed solution documentation to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Leading development, packaging, and release management activities
• Supporting the rollout of Salesforce applications and ensuring adherence to the Core Model
• Collaborating with internal and external IS&T partners to deliver high-quality projects on time

• Graduated with an engineering degree, preferably in information technology
• 4+ years of experience with Salesforce, including Salesforce Lightning, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud
• 2+ years of experience with Salesforce developer tools such as Apex, Test classes, Triggers, Visualforce, JavaScript, SOQL/SOSL, and Release Migration Tool
• 1+ years of experience with Salesforce architecture, design, and integration technologies (e.g., Platform Events, Connected Apps, Mobile SDK, SSO, OAuth, SOAP, REST, and SOA design principles)
• Proficiency in English (both spoken and written)
• Salesforce Platform App Builder certification
• Knowledge of data management, ETL concepts, enterprise software development, and relational database technologies is an added advantage
• Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant certification is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work autonomously in a global and multicultural environment
