Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Individual Contributor) to lead end-to-end global Salesforce implementations using Agile and AI-enabled practices. You will own delivery excellence, financials, governance, and stakeholder alignment in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 10+ years in IT with 5+ years on Salesforce programs, strong communication with executives, and deep experience across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud. Bengaluru-based role with global reach.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of total experience in the IT industry, with 5+ years delivering Salesforce projects.
• Proven experience delivering Salesforce implementations across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud and/or Industry clouds.
• Experience managing Salesforce related migration projects where Salesforce platform/clouds are the source or target.
• Strong understanding of the Salesforce delivery lifecycle and collaboration with Architects/Tech Leads (hands-on config not required).
• Excellent communication with senior stakeholders and executives.
• Salesforce Certifications (Sales Cloud/Service Cloud/Experience Cloud) and Project/Agile Certifications (PMP/PMI-ACP/SAFe/PRINCE2/CSM/PSM).
• Proficiency with project tools: JIRA, ADO, MS Project, Smartsheets, Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Salesforce Delivery & Financial Ownership: manage scope, timelines, risks, resourcing, dependencies and margins.
• Agile Delivery Leadership: lead Scrum/SAFe delivery, backlog prioritisation, delivery predictability, cross-functional teams.
• Program Planning & Roadmap Management: develop integrated plans and transparent reporting across lifecycle.
• Stakeholder & Executive Management: drive alignment, governance forums, executive reporting and escalation handling.
• Quality Governance & Delivery Excellence: enforce standards, quality benchmarks, and continuous improvement.
• Resource & Budget Management: plan resources, manage budgets/forecasts, monitor financials and risks.
• AI-Driven Productivity Enhancement: promote authorised AI tools to boost team efficiency.
• Domain specialization: lead end-to-end digital transformation across CPQ, Revenue Cloud, Marketing, Tableau, ITSM.
• Timezone flexibility to support global customers.

Role Overview

As a Salesforce Project Manager (Individual contributor) , you will lead & own the end-to-end delivery of global, outcomes Salesforce implementations using Agile methodologies and modern, AI-enabled delivery practices. You will be accountable for delivery excellence, financial performance, governance, and stakeholder alignment, operating with a strong business-owner & customer first mindset.

This role requires strategic thinking, executive presence, and hands-on delivery leadership to manage complex Salesforce programs, protect project margins, and scale delivery impact across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Salesforce Delivery & Financial Ownership: Own the complete Salesforce delivery lifecycle, managing scope, timelines, risks, resourcing, and dependencies while ensuring high-quality outcomes and protecting Sold vs. Delivered margins.
• Agile Delivery Leadership: Lead Agile delivery using frameworks such as Scrum and SAFe, driving sprint execution, backlog prioritisation, delivery predictability, and high-performing cross-functional Salesforce teams.
• Program Planning & Roadmap Management: Develop and manage integrated project plans and delivery roadmaps, ensuring transparent progress reporting, risk visibility, and dependency management across the engagement lifecycle.
• Stakeholder & Executive Management: Drive stakeholder alignment through effective communication, executive reporting, governance forums, and proactive escalation management in complex, global environments.
• Quality Governance & Delivery Excellence: Establish and enforce delivery governance, standards, and best practices, ensuring compliance, quality benchmarks, and continuous improvement across projects.
• Resource & Budget Management: Plan and optimise project resourcing, manage budgets and forecasts, track financials, and mitigate delivery and financial risks throughout the engagement.
• AI-Driven Productivity Enhancement: Encourage the strategic adoption of authorised AI technologies to boost team efficiency and optimise overall project delivery cycles
• Core Industry & Domain Specialization: Direct experience leading complex, end-to-end digital transformation programs across key global industries, including CPQ,Revenue Cloud,Marketing,Tableau,ITSM.
• Timezone flexibility : Timezone flexibility to ensure comprehensive support and alignment with global customer needs

Skills — Must Have

• 10+ years of total experience in the IT industry, with 5+ years delivering Salesforce projects
• Proven experience managing Salesforce implementations across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud and/or Industry clouds
• Experience managing Salesforce related migration projects where Salesforce platform/clouds are either the source or the target for migration.
• Strong understanding of the Salesforce delivery lifecycle, with the ability to collaborate effectively with Architects and Technical Leads (hands‑on configuration is not required)
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and assertively with senior stakeholders and executives
• Salesforce Certifications (any one):
  • Sales Cloud Consultant , Service Cloud Consultant, Experience Cloud Consultant
• Project / Agile Management Certification (any one):
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist, PRINCE2, CSM, or PSM
• Hands-on experience with project management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps (ADO), MS Project, Smartsheets, Google Workspace
• Awareness and practical exposure to AI-enabled delivery tools (e.g., Gemini, Notebook LM) and an Agentic Delivery mindset
• Willingness to travel on a need basis

Preferred Skills — Good To Have

• Experience delivering Salesforce projects in CPQ domain (Salesforce CPQ, Revenue Cloud Advanced, Industry CPQ) or Life Sciences domain(s)
• Exposure to MuleSoft, Salesforce Data Cloud, or related integration and data platforms
• Salesforce Agentforce Specialist or Legend certifications, with experience managing Agentforce-enabled projects
