Job summary

ZettaMine Labs Pvt. Ltd. in Hyderabad is seeking a Salesforce DevOps Engineer P2 with 3–5 years of hands-on experience to design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce delivery.

You will work across environments to ensure fast, reliable releases using Azure DevOps, SFDX, and Jenkins. The role collaborates with Salesforce Developers, QA and Product teams, maintains deployment automation, enforces branching strategies like GitFlow and trunk-based development, and documents runbooks

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of overall experience in Salesforce delivery automation and release management.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce deployment processes and DevOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Repos and Pipelines.
• Knowledge of Azure Boards and Artifacts is an added advantage.
• Strong experience with SFDX CLI.
• Experience with Scratch Orgs and packaging concepts is preferred.
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Knowledge of declarative and scripted pipelines.
• Experience managing Jenkins agents, credentials, plugins, and pipeline configurations.
• Scripting skills in Shell, PowerShell, or Python for automation.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments using Azure DevOps and/or Jenkins.
• Implement automated deployments using SFDX CLI, including metadata packaging, validation, and promotions across environments.
• Define and enforce branching strategies such as GitFlow and Trunk-Based Development.
• Support code integration best practices, including branching, merging, pull requests, and code reviews.
• Automate build, test, code scanning, and deployment workflows for Salesforce Apex, LWC, and metadata.
• Manage environment strategies across DEV, SIT, UAT, Pre-Prod, and Production.
• Configure and manage deployment approvals, gates, and release controls.
• Implement deployment controls including change validation, rollback plans, versioning, and audit logging.
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines with quality and security checks such as static code analysis, test coverage validation, and vulnerability scanning.
• Monitor pipeline health and troubleshoot deployment failures, merge conflicts, permission issues, and tooling gaps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve release cadence and reduce deployment risks through automation and standardization.
• Maintain technical documentation for pipeline setup, release processes, deployment procedures, and DevOps runbooks.

Role Summary

Mandatory Skills - Must Have

Salesforce DevOps & Release Management

• Knowledge of Azure Boards and Artifacts is an added advantage.

SFDX

• Strong experience with SFDX CLI.
• Hands-on experience with source tracking and Salesforce DX workflows.
• Knowledge of Scratch Orgs and packaging concepts is preferred.

Jenkins

• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Knowledge of declarative and scripted pipelines.
• Experience managing Jenkins agents, credentials, plugins, and pipeline configurations.
• Strong understanding of branching and merging strategies.
• Hands-on experience with pull requests, code reviews, and conflict resolution.
• Good understanding of Salesforce metadata and deployment mechanisms.
• Knowledge of Change Sets and Salesforce DX source format.
• Experience with org-to-org deployments.

Scripting

• Basic scripting skills in Shell, PowerShell, or Python to automate repeatable DevOps tasks.
