Job summary

Mindstix Software Labs is seeking a Senior Salesforce Engineer in Pune to design, develop, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions for enterprise environments.

You will work on Apex, Lightning Web Components, and integration patterns, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality applications. The role emphasizes automation, security, and scalable architecture within a fast-moving, hybrid workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• 7+ years hands-on Salesforce development in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in Apex development (Triggers, Controllers, Batch Apex, Async).
• Experience with Flows and automation architecture; Platform Events and Bulk API.

Roles and responsibilities:

Mindstix is looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Salesforce Engineer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands‑on experience in Salesforce development within complex enterprise environments and a strong understanding of scalable application architecture and platform best practices.

As a Senior Salesforce Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust Salesforce solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high‑quality applications.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce platform capabilities.
• Build and optimize Apex triggers, controllers, batch processes, and asynchronous processing solutions.
• Develop reusable and maintainable Lightning Web Components with clear component hierarchies and event‑driven communication patterns.
• Design and implement automation strategies using Flows and Apex while ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks and governor limit issues in high‑volume Salesforce environments.
• Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Named Credentials, and asynchronous integration patterns.
• Work closely with product owners, architects, and engineering teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote engineering best practices across the team.
• Implement secure and scalable solutions while adhering to Salesforce security best practices, including OWD, Sharing Rules, and Field‑Level Security.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams and manage deployments using Git‑based workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues while ensuring system reliability and performance.
• Continuously evaluate and improve existing Salesforce implementations and automation strategies.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7+ years of hands‑on experience in Salesforce development, with significant experience in enterprise Salesforce environments.
• Strong expertise in:
• Apex Development (Triggers, Controllers, Batch Apex, Asynchronous Processing)
• Salesforce Flows and Automation Architecture
• Salesforce Platform Events and Bulk API
• Salesforce Security Model
• REST/SOAP Integrations and Named Credentials
• Strong understanding of Salesforce order of execution, recursion handling, and scalable automation design patterns.
• Hands‑on experience with Git, including branching, merging, conflict resolution, and pull request workflows.
• Experience with deployment tools such as Copado, Gearset, or Sourcetree is preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce DX, Scratch Orgs, Connected Apps, and OAuth is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, test data setup, and code quality practices.
• Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
