Job summary

Cloudxtreme in India Hyderabad is seeking a Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360) Engineer to lead design, build, and configuration of data solutions on Salesforce Data Cloud. You will be the primary technical contact for data ingestion, identity resolution, and activation use cases.

The role requires hands-on Data Cloud development with strong SQL and APIs, plus guiding teams through complex data modelling and governance to ensure scalable, enterprise-grade solutions.

Qualifications

• Must have Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360) configuration and development experience.
• Deep understanding of Data Streams & DMOs, Identity Resolution & Match Rules, Data Transforms, Calculated Insights (SQL), Segmentation & Activation.
• Advanced SQL skills for analytics and Calculated Insights.
• Experience with APIs, event data, and cloud data platforms.
• JSON, APIs, and data integration pipelines.
• Understanding of event-based data and customer engagement tracking.
• Basic understanding of Salesforce metadata, objects, and permissions.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360) implementations.
• Own solution design reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise data architecture.
• Act as the escalation point for complex data, identity, and performance issues.
• Ensure best practices for scalability, performance, and data governance.
• Review Data Streams, DMOs, and Transforms; guide team on data modeling and relationship design.
• Drive UAT, go-live readiness, and post-production optimization.
• Support defect resolution and optimization activities.
• Translate business requirements into actionable technical designs.
• Provide effort estimates, delivery plans, and status updates to leadership.
