Job summary

VML Enterprise Solutions seeks an experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud Technical Architect to lead architecture, design, and delivery for enterprise-scale ecommerce implementations and support engagements. The candidate will guide development teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure scalable, secure SFCC B2C solutions.

Responsibilities include defining high-performance ecommerce architectures, reviewing designs, and mentoring teams while engaging in architecture workshops and roadmap

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware / SFCC B2C).
• Expertise in SFRA architecture, cartridges, controllers, ISML, OCAPI, SCAPI, hooks, and job frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, REST APIs, and integration patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and deployment processes.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure and serverless integrations (Lambda, API Gateway, S3).
• Prepare architecture diagrams, technical design documents, integration specifications, and solution blueprints.
• Good understanding of ecommerce concepts including catalog, checkout, promotions, inventory, and order management.
• Experience in performance optimization and troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Participate in client discussions, architecture workshops, and technical roadmap planning.

The opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Technical Architect with 8+ years to lead architecture, design, and technical delivery for enterprise-scale ecommerce implementations and support engagements. The candidate should possess strong expertise in SFCC B2C architecture, integrations, performance optimization, and solution design, along with the ability to guide development teams and collaborate with business stakeholders.
