Job summary

Aptita in Mumbai seeks an experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) developer to lead end-to-end SFCC implementations for B2C commerce, focusing on storefront and backend logic.

You will mentor a small team of 3–4 developers, review code, ensure performance, security and integration with OMS/ERP/CMS, and collaborate with stakeholders.

Strong expertise in SFRA, ISML, OCAPI/SCAPI, REST/SOAP APIs and CI/CD is required.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of hands-on SFCC experience in B2C commerce
• Strong background in storefront development and backend logic
• Experience with SFRA customization and third‑party integrations

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements and recommend scalable technical solutions within the Salesforce Commerce Cloud ecosystem
• Co-create detailed technical design documents (TDDs) and review/approve designs for implementation
• Lead end-to-end development activities, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards
• Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders
• Lead and mentor a team of 3–4 developers, ensuring quality delivery and continuous improvement
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective debugging and resolution strategies
• Ensure performance optimization, scalability, and security of SFCC implementations

Required Experience

• 4–6 years of hands‑on experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), preferably in B2C Commerce (Demandware)
• Strong experience in eCommerce implementations, including storefront development and backend logic

Technical Skills

• ISML, Controllers (SFRA), Pipelines (legacy), and OCAPI/SCAPI
• Frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS3, responsive design)
• Experience with:
  • SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture) customization
  • Third-party integrations (payment gateways, OMS, ERP, CMS, etc.)
  • REST/SOAP APIs and middleware integration
  • Code reviews, performance tuning, and code optimization
  • CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes

General Requirements

• Experience in application customization, configuration, and integrations within SFCC
