Sales Professional – Ranchi

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding our presence in the assigned territory, identifying growth opportunities, and executing strategic initiatives to achieve sales targets. This role requires a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer segmentation, and competitive landscape to drive market share and establish our brand among the top two in the Portable Air Products sector.

Responsibilities
  • Territory & Business Development: Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities (traditional and nontraditional) in the assigned territory.
  • Develop and implement a territory management plan to maximize sales and market penetration. Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities, untapped customers, and potential sectors.
  • Ensure mapping of the full potential of the territory, tracking sales activities, and customer interactions.
  • Customer & Channel Engagement: Conduct product presentations, technical demonstrations, and solution-based selling.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts, customers, and stakeholders. Support and review dealer performance to ensure optimal coverage and increased hit rate.
  • Provide product and sales process training to dealer sales teams.
  • Ensure healthy relationships with channel partners, maintaining proper stock and receivable levels.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Align sales execution with divisional strategy to grow the core and extend the core.
  • Implement targeted marketing and sales initiatives to improve presence in low-coverage areas. Track competitor activities, product offerings, and sales strategies to provide insights for business planning.
  • Provide market and competitor feedback to marketing for refining product positioning.
  • Operational Excellence: Prepare and submit timely technical & commercial proposals.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales pipeline, forecasts, and achievements. Collaborate with service teams for after-sales support to enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering specializing in Mechanical/Mining (or related field).
  • 3–5 years of proven experience in Construction/Industrial/Capital Equipment sales. Strong technical knowledge with customer engagement, negotiation, and solution-selling skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
