Position Overview
Support the sales function specifically in the area of sales analysis and financial planning covering the SouthAsia (SA) region. Provide timely and accurate management information, analyse results, and suggest solutions to drive decision‑making for business growth. Demonstrate proactive initiative, a sharp analytical mind, and collaborate closely with internal teams and stakeholders across all levels.
Accountabilities
- Sales Reporting
- Prepare comprehensive and accurate sales reports, including forecasts, pipeline analysis, revenue projections, and territory performance.
- Present data clearly and concisely to sales leadership for data‑driven decision‑making.
- Control data accuracy and structure; deliver daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Automate sales reporting and manage YTD sales data.
- Track DSO at the sales‑manager level and perform monthly variance analysis against budgets/forecasts.
- Generate on‑demand reports as required.
- Budgeting
- Prepare a bottom‑up annual sales budget by territory.
- Communicate expectations and clear instructions to the sales team.
- Target growth percentages based on discussions with SA management.
- Understand clinic/buyer dynamics in each territory, build individual budgets, and compare with received budgets.
- Assist in sales forecasting and planning with accurate data, projections, and demand insights.
- Collaborate to identify sales‑process improvements and revenue‑growth opportunities.
- Analysis
- Collect, consolidate, and analyse sales data from SFHC and sales reports.
- Identify trends, patterns, and key performance indicators to assess performance and uncover improvement opportunities.
- Support sales leaders with insightful data for strategic planning (e.g., clinic trends, segment performance, opportunity matrices).
- Coordinate monthly with the sales team to track forecast and achievement progress.
- Engage in field work to better understand the business.
- Lead analytics projects, including automation and usability improvements.
- Conduct competitive analysis using CRM data to identify market trends and customer preferences.
- Evaluate ROI on key initiatives such as Path2Success, IMPACT, SPARSH, etc.
- Projects
- Implement business‑insight improvement projects in collaboration with global stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.
- Participate in ad‑hoc projects required for business growth.
- Prepare management presentations and contribute to long‑term strategy with marketing and management teams.
- Liaise with IT to improve systems.
- Identify improvements that enhance visibility of internal and channel partner performance, establishing a balanced scorecard across functions.
- Drive implementation and acceptance across stakeholders.
- SCP
- Prepare and calculate quarterly sales commissions (SCP) for each salesperson and submit for management review.
- Coordinate monthly with the sales team to track progress against targets.
- Communicate SCP achievement to the broader team.
- Educate team members on the SCP methodology and champion peer‑group resolution.
- Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for the field team regarding commission calculations and payouts.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Engineering degree plus MBA in Finance; CA/CPA with strong analytical skills is also considered.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced Excel skills, including automation and modelling; knowledge of PowerPivot and Tableau is a plus.
- Very strong analytical skill sets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong collaborative and teamwork abilities.
- Proven ability in troubleshooting and problem‑solving.
