Job summary

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly structured, analytical, and business-oriented Senior Analyst / Program Manager to support critical Sales Operations processes, commercial analytics, target-setting, and cross-functional program execution. This role will support key business processes that impact sales planning, pipeline governance, won revenue performance, target allocation, Sales Incentive Plan execution, and broader commercial decision‑making.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of analytical capability, process discipline, stakeholder management, and communication skills. This person should be comfortable working with data, managing complex timelines, coordinating across functions, and explaining business logic clearly to senior stakeholders.

This role requires more than reporting or administration; it demands someone who can understand the business context behind the numbers, manage high-impact sales operations processes, identify risks, drive follow‑through, and help improve the quality, accuracy, and governance of commercial planning and performance management.

The position works closely with Sales Operations, Sales Leadership, Finance, HR, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and regional teams.

Sales Operations Program Management
  • Own the planning, execution, and governance of key Sales Operations and analytics processes across the business unit.
  • Manage project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, stakeholder inputs, and follow‑ups for critical commercial processes.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Finance, HR, IT, BI, Data Analytics, and regional teams to ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
  • Bring structure and discipline to complex cross‑functional processes that require multiple inputs, approvals, and decision points.
  • Identify process gaps, risks, and control issues, and recommend practical improvements.
  • Build repeatable templates, trackers, documentation, validation checks, and governance routines.
Commercial Analytics, Target Setting and Program Execution
  • Support high-impact Sales Operations analytics and planning processes, including target-setting, SIP, pipeline performance, won revenue, sales productivity, forecasting, and other commercial performance initiatives.
  • Analyze historical performance, pipeline trends, conversion rates, growth expectations, regional inputs, account‑level assumptions, and business priorities to develop data‑backed recommendations.
  • Build clear methodology, assumptions, business rationale, risks, and decision points for leadership review.
  • Partner with Sales Operations, Finance, HR, BI, Data Analytics, IT, and regional teams to ensure accurate, timely, and well‑governed execution of assigned analytics projects.
  • Prepare executive‑ready summaries, reports, and presentations that translate complex analysis into practical business insights and recommended actions.
  • Identify data gaps, process risks, inconsistencies, or performance outliers, and escalate with clear options and recommendations.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation of methodology, source data, assumptions, approvals, and version control.
  • Handle sensitive performance, target, and incentive‑related information with confidentiality and control.
Stakeholder Communication and Governance
  • Serve as a key point of contact for assigned Sales Operations processes, analytics deliverables, and program updates.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with Sales, Finance, HR, IT, BI, regional teams, and senior stakeholders.
  • Prepare concise, executive‑ready materials that explain process status, key risks, methodology, findings, and decisions needed.
  • Facilitate working sessions and follow‑ups to drive alignment and keep workstreams moving.
  • Ensure decisions, assumptions, changes, and approvals are documented clearly.
Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve Sales Operations processes.
  • Strengthen governance, auditability, and transparency of key commercial planning and performance processes.
  • Support automation and reporting improvement opportunities in partnership with BI, Data Analytics, and IT.
  • Reduce manual effort and dependency on individual knowledge through documentation, templates, and repeatable processes.
  • Promote a culture of ownership, accuracy, continuous improvement, and proactive problem‑solving.
What your background should look like
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Commercial Analytics, Business Operations, Finance, Program Management, Sales Planning, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel capability and ability to work with large and complex datasets.
  • Strong project or program management skills, including experience managing timelines, dependencies, risks, stakeholders, and deliverables.
  • Strong presentation and PowerPoint skills for effective communication and cadences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to explain complex business rules, methodologies, calculations, and analytical outputs in a clear and simple way.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Experience working with cross‑functional teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, bring structure to complex problems, and drive follow‑through.
  • Ability to handle confidential or sensitive business information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with sales planning, quota‑setting, target allocation, pipeline management, sales forecasting, incentive compensation, or sales performance management.
  • Experience supporting annual planning, target‑setting, compensation planning, or other high‑impact business processes.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales performance data.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar platforms.
  • Experience working with Finance, Sales Leadership, HR, IT, or regional commercial teams.
  • Knowledge of B2B sales processes, account segmentation, opportunity management, and commercial planning.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills and ability to prepare leadership‑ready materials.
