Overview

We are a fast-growing global B2B SaaS company in the media tech space, providing solutions that empower journalists/media professionals, agencies, and enterprises to monitor, analyse, and distribute content across platforms with precision and impact. Our clients range from PR firms to corporate communications teams for large corporations, and government agencies. As we expand our footprint in India, we are looking for an experienced and driven senior sales professionals based in Chennai to lead client acquisition and revenue growth in the region.

Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Ownership

  • Own and drive the entire sales function for the SaaS business with accountability for revenue, pipeline growth, and new client acquisition.
  • Implement sales strategies to grow in media and enterprise sectors.
  • Handle the sales lifecycle from lead generation to closure ensuring consistent achievement of revenue goals.

Client Engagement & Growth

  • Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships with key clients to secure renewals, upsells, and long-term partnerships.
  • Partner with Customer Success to ensure smooth onboarding, adoption, and retention.
  • Establish a performance-driven culture with clear targets, accountability, and recognition.

Market & Strategy

  • Stay ahead of SaaS, media-tech, and enterprise digital transformation trends to identify emerging opportunities.
  • Provide marketing intelligence and collaborate to design campaigns, events, and initiatives that generate qualified leads.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 10-20 years of B2B enterprise sales experience, including at least 5 years in SaaS sales leadership roles.
  • Strong track record of independently closing complex SaaS deals with enterprise clients.
  • Excellent executive communication, negotiation, and consultative sales skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM and sales automation platforms (Zoho CRM experience a plus).
  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Business, Media, Communications, or related field.
Preferred
  • Prior experience selling SaaS in the media, PR, or communications technology sectors.
  • Exposure to the Indian enterprise and media-tech landscape.
  • Multilingual skills (Hindi/Tamil and another regional language) advantageous.
