Position: Senior Business Development Manager (BDM)
Location: Kolkata (On-site)
Experience Required: 5+ years in International IT Sales
Compensation: Competitive, as per industry standards
Role Overview:
We are looking for a results-driven and dynamic Senior Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive international sales for IT products and services. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in B2B sales, lead generation, and client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Market Research:
Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, and networking. Conduct market research to analyze trends and identify potential clients. - Sales Strategy & Client Engagement:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets. Present software products & services through demos, proposals, and client meetings. Negotiate contracts and close deals with international clients. - Proposal & Documentation:
Prepare sales proposals, contracts, and bids for potential projects. Maintain accurate sales reports and CRM records. - Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with business goals. Ensure customer satisfaction through effective post-sales support.
Must-Have Skills:
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years in International Sales (preferably in IT/Software/SaaS).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written English skills.
- Sales Expertise: Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and exceed targets.
- Negotiation & Presentation: Experience in contract negotiation, pricing strategies, and sales presentations.
- CRM & Reporting: Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, ConvergeHub) for tracking sales activities.
- Proposal Writing: Ability to create compelling sales proposals, contracts, and business pitches.
- Market Research: Strong analytical skills to identify trends, competitors, and potential clients.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- IT/Software Sales Experience: Experience selling SaaS, Cloud, or Enterprise Software Solutions.
- Networking & Relationship Management: Strong connections in international markets.
- Understanding of Digital Marketing: Knowledge of SEO, PPC, and lead generation strategies.
- Multi-Language Proficiency: Fluency in additional languages (preferred but not mandatory).
Educational Qualification:
Bachelors/Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
