Job description

GI is looking for an Inside Sales Engineer. The candidate will be an integral part of our closely-knit team and will be responsible for all sourcing and purchasing of equipment and products for the company across the world.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze technical data and specifications of the equipment and supplies requirements
• Analyze all suppliers in order to select the most suitable suppliers who are able to deliver high-quality products at competitive pricing
• Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost, and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company
• Develop purchasing or sourcing strategies and supplier preferencing study
• Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule so as to ensure on-time deliveries of final product
• Develop, implement, and drive the procurement strategies in order to meet cost savings targets
• Review and manage the supplier base to ensure consistency with the sourcing strategy
• Coordinate with vendors on continuous quality improvement

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical fields, capable of understanding customer’s technical requirements
• Preferred 2 years of relevant experience as Sales and Purchase coordinator
