Job summary

Intrepid Travel is seeking a French-speaking Sales Consultant in India to transform enquiries into exceptional journeys. Based in our Gurugram office, you will be the trusted contact for French-speaking travellers, guiding them from first enquiry through departure with personalised itineraries, quotes and bookings, delivering outstanding service.

You will collaborate with Reservations, Contracting and Operations to drive growth in the French-speaking market.

Qualifications

• Sales experience with ability to convert enquiries into bookings.
• Fluency in French and English with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong knowledge of travel destinations, especially India and French markets.

Responsibilities

• Handle enquiries from French-speaking travellers from first contact to departure.
• Prepare quotes and convert enquiries into bookings.
• Collaborate with Reservations, Contracting and Operations to ensure smooth processes.

Every memorable trip starts with understanding what a traveller is looking for. As a French-speaking Sales Consultant in India, you'll help turn those ideas into exceptional journeys!
Based in our Gurugram office, you'll be the trusted point of contact for French-speaking travellers, guiding them from their first enquiry through to departure with personalised recommendations, accurate bookings and outstanding service. You'll create tailored itineraries, provide advice on Intrepid's trips, prepare quotes, convert enquiries into bookings and help ensure every traveller enjoys a seamless journey.
Working closely with our Reservations, Contracting and Operations teams, you'll combine strong sales skills with excellent destination knowledge to drive growth in the French-speaking market. Along the way, you'll support FIT and tailor-made travel requests, contribute to French-speaking Tour Leader training and assist with emergency passenger support when needed.

This is a full-time permanent position, where you will work on-site at our office in Gurugram, India.
Some of the experience you’ll bring may include:

• Previous sales experience with the ability to achieve high conversion rates.
• Fluency in both French and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong destination and travel knowledge, particularly relating to the French market.
• Confidence using systems and technology, with a strong digital mindset.
• Excellent customer service and organisational skills.
• Experience working with French-speaking customers would be an added advantage.
