Piping Designer:

1. Coordinate team of Piping and Layout Draftsmen to carry out the Piping and Layout part of the installations under the responsibility of the project Piping and layout leader or piping engineers.
2. Design, execute or check the typical Piping and Layout studies including 3D model review with other disciplines and issue of clash check report.
3. Construction or design drawings using 2D software or extracted from 3D for piping networks (overall plot plan, equipment layout drawings, piping general arrangement, piping isometrics, and piping supports).
4. Analyse, within his area of responsibility, criticalities in 3D Model development and propose recovery activities.

Software skills: PDS/PDMS/SP3D/E3D

Layout & Piping Lead:

1. Should be a Team Leader/player and effectively manage a team of Engineers/Designers/Draftsmen.
2. Define activities and piping deliverables, set up schedules, and coordinate activities with other disciplines during BID phase, FEED Phase, and Detail Engineering Phase as per the requirements of the contract.
3. Manage Piping Material Take off, Specification, Material requisition, Technical Bid Evaluation for procurement, and vendor follow-up.
4. Manage 3D Model Reviews.
5. Guarantee proper workflow, interfaces, quality checks, and approval of piping project documents.
6. Conform piping efficient working, project progress, monitor and control man-hour budget.
7. Support project effort with identification of changes to the contract scope.

Piping Layout Engineer:

1. Should be a team player and effectively manage a team of Designers & Draftsmen.
2. Should have exposure to Bid, FEED Phase, and Detail Design Phase of piping activities.
3. Design and verify Layout, Piping, and Supports.
4. Check and verify the Piping Deliverables viz., Plot Plan, Equipment Layout, Isometrics, and Piping General Arrangement Drawings.
5. Make Piping Material Take off during Bid Phase, FEED Phase, and Detail Design.
6. Review Vendor Drawings for input to 3D model.
7. Monitor and report 3D model progress.
8. Coordinate with other disciplines for Inter Discipline Review of Documents including Vendor documents.

Piping Flexibility Engineer:

1. Responsible for quality, budget, and schedule for activities related to pipe supports and Pipe Flexibility.
2. Preparation of Critical Line List and perform piping stress analysis.
3. Prepare and issue Single Line diagrams of loading for design of Pipe Racks/Pipe Sleepers and Foundation.
4. Prepare Stress Reports.
5. Review Vendor documents of Equipment for conforming Piping Moments and loads.

Piping Material Engineer:

1. Responsible for quality, budget, and schedule for activities related to piping materials.
2. Issue Project Piping Material Specification.
3. Perform Pipe Wall Thickness calculations.
4. Issue Technical Specification for Requisition of Piping Components/Valves and perform Technical Bid Evaluation of vendor offers.
5. Review and approve Vendor Documents.
6. Assist Inspection department.
7. Should have worked in any of Piping Material Management Software.

CAD 3D Administrator:

1. Create Project specification for 3D software setup.
2. Set up and support 3D Project.
3. Prepare and follow up discipline catalogues, incorporate vendor information for components with relevant dimensions.
4. Perform maintenance related to discipline catalogue and discipline project database.
5. Set up sets for isometric extraction.
6. Set up sets for discipline drawing extraction such as General Arrangement, Equipment Layouts.
7. Set up MTO extraction for Material Management system.
