About the Role

As a Senior SailPoint Engineering Lead, you will drive the architecture, engineering, implementation, governance, and strategic direction of SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) and SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) platforms. You will be a key member of the Identity and Access Management team, collaborating with security, cloud, infrastructure, application, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise-scale identity governance solutions.

This is a player-coach role requiring significant hands-on technical involvement while providing leadership, mentoring, and strategic direction for SailPoint platform transformation initiatives. You will have the autonomy to lead modernization efforts, drive automation, improve governance controls, and influence security architecture decisions across hybrid and cloud environments.

In This Role, You Will

• Lead technical ownership, architecture, and strategic direction for SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) and SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) platforms.


• Design and implement enterprise identity governance, provisioning, lifecycle management, access request, certification, and compliance capabilities.


• Drive cloud identity governance initiatives across Azure, AWS, GCP, SaaS, hybrid, and on-premises environments.


• Lead SailPoint ISC onboarding, integrations, workflows, automation, governance controls, and platform transformation programs.


• Mentor SailPoint engineers while providing hands-on leadership in solution design, troubleshooting, automation, cloud access governance, and security architecture.

What You Must Have to Be Considered

• 9+ years of Identity and Access Management (IAM) experience.


• 5+ years of SailPoint architecture and engineering experience.


• Expert-level hands-on experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC).


• Deep expertise implementing and supporting SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) and SailPoint ISC.


• Experience leading SailPoint cloud transformation, IIQ-to-ISC migration, and modernization initiatives.


• Strong expertise in Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), access certifications, role engineering, entitlement governance, and Joiner-Mover-Leaver lifecycle management.


• Experience implementing cloud identity governance across Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform environments.


• Strong experience integrating SailPoint with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, ServiceNow, HR systems, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.


• Expertise with SCIM, REST APIs, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, JDBC, LDAP, Java, and BeanShell.


• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments with 50,000+ identities and thousands of integrated applications.


• Strong leadership, communication, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
