Purvah Green Power invites an experienced HSE professional to lead Health, Safety & Environment activities for a large-scale Wind Power Project at Ralla Anantapuram, Andhra Pradesh. The Deputy Manager / Manager HSE will ensure effective implementation of HSE policies, compliance, contractor safety, risk management and a strong safety culture across the site.

Qualifications

  • Graduate or diploma in engineering with HSE/Industrial Safety qualification.
  • 12–18 years of HSE experience, preferably in wind power.
  • Experience in wind power project site HSE management.
  • Hands-on contractor management, risk assessment, safety audits, and statutory compliance.
  • Knowledge of HSE systems, work permit processes, incident investigation and emergency response.
  • Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Willing to work at a project site and manage HSE activities independently.

Responsibilities

  • Lead HSE activities across the Wind Power Project and ensure implementation of company HSE policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable statutory, regulatory and environmental requirements at the project site.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate control measures for project activities.
  • Develop and maintain HSE plans, procedures, legal registers and compliance documentation.
  • Conduct site inspections, safety audits, toolbox talks, safety inductions and training programs.
  • Lead contractor HSE management, including contractor evaluation, compliance monitoring and pre-qualification audits.
  • Conduct HSE kick-off meetings with contractors before commencement of work and communicate project safety requirements.
  • Monitor work permits and ensure compliance for high-risk activities.
  • Manage safety committees and drive safety awareness and safety culture across the project.
  • Monitor and analyse leading and lagging HSE indicators and drive continuous improvement.
  • Investigate and report incidents, accidents and near misses and ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Coordinate emergency preparedness, emergency response plans and mock drills.
  • Prepare and monitor the HSE budget and ensure effective utilisation of safety resources.
  • Coordinate with project teams, contractors and other stakeholders to identify and mitigate site-specific HSE risks.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of HSE records, reports, statistics and compliance documentation.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced HSE professional to lead and manage Health, Safety & Environment activities for a large-scale Wind Power Project at Ralla Anantapuram , Andhra Pradesh .

The role will be responsible for ensuring effective implementation of HSE policies, statutory compliance, contractor safety, risk management and development of a strong safety culture across the project site.

Candidate Profile
  • Graduate / Diploma in Engineering, preferably with a qualification in Industrial Safety / HSE.
  • 12-18 years of relevant HSE experience, preferably in the Wind Power.
  • Strong experience in Wind Power Project site HSE management is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in contractor management, risk assessment, safety audits and statutory compliance.
  • Good knowledge of HSE systems, work permit processes, incident investigation and emergency response.
  • Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Should be comfortable working at a project site and managing HSE activities independently.
