Consultant – Data & AI SME

Level: Consultant – Location: India – Years of Experience: 6+ years of Industry/Consulting Experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on AI strategy, identify high‑impact use cases, build adoption roadmaps, and ensure alignment with business priorities and industry trends.
• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of AI‑enabled solutions, translating business objectives into tangible products and measurable outcomes.
• Bridge business and technology teams, ensuring AI/Gen AI/Agentic AI solutions meet strategic goals while fostering user adoption and change management.
• Engage senior stakeholders, including C‑suite executives, influencing decision‑making and driving adoption of innovative AI‑powered business models.
• Shape product strategies, operating models and transformation roadmaps for AI‑driven initiatives across industries such as Mobility, Smart Cities, After‑sales Services and Smart Connected Products.
• Develop and present executive‑level recommendations, proposals and business cases that articulate the ROI and strategic impact of AI‑enabled transformations.
• Demonstrate leadership by motivating multi‑disciplinary teams, fostering collaboration, problem‑solving and ensuring successful execution of engagements.

Preferred Experience

• AI/Gen AI Expertise: Proven experience in defining, managing or delivering projects with a significant AI or Gen AI component, advising clients on AI strategy, identifying high‑impact use cases and building actionable adoption roadmaps.
• Business–Technology Bridge: Skilled at translating business needs into AI solutions, acting as the interface between stakeholders and technical teams, and driving agile delivery of AI‑enabled products.
• Gen AI Knowledge: Strong understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering and enterprise applications, familiarity with major AI platforms (Azure AI, Google Cloud, AWS) and integration into enterprise systems (SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow).
• Responsible AI: Awareness of AI governance, ethics and risk frameworks, experience guiding clients on responsible AI adoption.

Domain Depth (optional)

• PRD (CGS, Products): Aftermarket services, customer experience, FSM, SAP platforms and process mining with Data/AI‑enabled transformation.
• Automobile & Industrial: SDV enablement, connected/EV/autonomous vehicles, mobility solutions (MaaS, diagnostics), compliance & safety standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE, UN‑R155).
• Platforms (SAP, PTC, NVIDIA): Expertise in SAP PPM/PS/CPM/CPQ/EWM, emerging platforms (PTC, NVIDIA, Honeywell); application of AI, automation and process mining to optimize enterprise platforms.
• MedTech / Pharma: SaMD, SiMD, biopharma platforms (Salesforce, IQVIA, Veeva), QMS systems (Trackwise, Veeva), GxP compliance and digital engineering for R&D, QA/QC.
• HPS / Utilities (Smart Cities, Public Sector): Smart metering, iCCC, worker safety, waste & sustainability, expertise in Digital Twins, GIS, IoT and AI use cases for governance and service delivery.
• A&D & CMT: Product lifecycle & design transformation using PLM/ALM (JIRA, ADO, Confluence, PTC, Servigistics), SDLC processes, warranty and tech publications.

Consulting Acumen

• Proven track record in digital transformation, multi‑disciplinary team leadership and executive stakeholder engagement in technology‑intensive industries.
• Preferred background: MBA or equivalent management qualification combined with an engineering or technology foundation.
