Location - Remote

Responsibilities:

1. Understand in-depth components of Rulestream such as Architect, Engineer, License Manager, Web and Service installation, MS SQL Database, etc.
2. Be Hands-on with RS UI layouts, Controls, especially with VIA framework.
3. Work hands-on with RS Part families, Properties, Connections, subparts, and specs across DB, Word, Teamcenter, CAD, etc.
4. Define rules and automation workflows within Rulestream.
5. Design processes and steps for Rulestream user interaction and experience.
6. Deeply understand Rulestream database schemas, including data structures, tables, and views.
7. Leverage Visual Studio IDE or similar for custom development and debugging.
8. Develop custom APIs (SOAP & REST).
9. Set up CI/CD pipelines to streamline application development and releases.
10. Execute unit, regression, and integration testing.
11. Package and deploy Rulestream applications across various environments.
12. Run basic smoke and performance tests before release.
13. Communicate effectively with stakeholders like engineers and project managers to gather requirements and document rules.
14. Create and maintain training content.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
2. Hands-on experience implementing Rulestream applications, including integration with tools like CAD, CAE, Office, PLM, ERP, etc.
3. Good understanding of Rulestream architecture, features, and interface frameworks, including VIA UI.
4. Ability to work independently on complex requirements.
5. Ability to encode engineering knowledge into rule-based automated solutions.
6. Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams to establish a digital thread across the product value chain.
7. Fundamental understanding of processes like Inquiry to Order (ITO), Order to Remittance (OTR), Configure to Order (CTO), Engineer to Order (ETO), and engineering principles like BOMs, Variants, and Options.
