Salary & Pay Scale Details
- Teaching Associate (Contractual): ₹28,850/- (Fixed Consolidated Pay)
- Nature of Post: Contractual for up to 5 years (extendable by 3 more years, max total 8 years).
- Benefits: Since this is a contractual post, there is no Grade Pay , no Pay Matrix, and no DA/HRA allowances.
- Job Security: Not a permanent government post; service is subject to the Rajasthan Contractual Hiring to Civil Posts Rules.

- Topics Covered: History, Art, Culture, Literature, Tradition and Heritage of Rajasthan; Geography of Rajasthan; Political and Administrative System of Rajasthan; Economy of Rajasthan; and Current Affairs.
- Paper II: Subject Concerned (Post-specific)
- Weightage: 300 Marks
- Number of Questions: 120 Questions
- Time Allotted: 2 Hours
- Content: Detailed questions based on the postgraduate level syllabus of the specific subject you applied for (e.g., Hindi, History, Geography, etc.).
Marking Scheme and Qualifying Rules
- Marking per Correct Answer: Each question in Paper I is worth 1.25 marks, and each in Paper II is worth 2.5 marks.
- Negative Marking: For every wrong answer, 1/3rd (one-third) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted.
- Sectional Qualifying Marks: You must score at least 36% in each paper separately to be considered for the merit list.
- Aggregate Qualifying Marks: Candidates must achieve a minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate (total of both papers).
- Relaxation: A 5% relaxation in qualifying marks is applicable for candidates belonging to SC and ST categories.
- The 5th Option Rule: In the OMR sheet, five options will be given. If you do not wish to attempt a question, you must darken the 5th circle. Failure to darken any of the five circles for more than 10% of the questions will lead to disqualification.
