Job summary

RSM Bengaluru is seeking a Supervisor to lead and execute core engagements for global clients. You will coordinate with Canada-based teams, supervise junior staff, and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting across ASPE, IFRS and GAAP frameworks.

The role emphasizes client service, delivery excellence, and proactive risk management within allocated engagement clusters. Strong communication and mentorship are essential for success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CA Qualified + 4 years relevant experience, ACCA/CPA qualified + 5 years relevant experience.
  • Prepare bookkeeping records and financial statements for compilation and review engagements.
  • Prepare Canadian corporate income tax returns (T2) and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
  • Perform financial analysis, including variance analysis, ratio analysis, YoY analysis, and cash flow statement preparation for review engagements.
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Apply technical knowledge of ASPE, IFRS, and GAAP to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.
  • Perform first-level technical reviews for compilation engagements and in-charge reviews for review engagements.
  • Collaborate with engagement partners and managers to deliver high-quality client engagements.
  • Monitor engagement progress, budgets, timelines, productivity, and work plan adherence.
  • Identify and proactively escalation delivery risks, delays, client dependencies, and resource constraints.
  • Supervise, coach, and review the work of Senior Associates and Associates across Canadian R&C engagements.
  • Provide constructive feedback, mentorship, and development opportunities to support team growth and performance.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment focused on service excellence.
