Job summary

Vrac Global Services is seeking an experienced RPA Developer in India to design, build and deploy automation solutions. The role focuses on Document Understanding, PDF workflows and AI-enabled automation using LLMs, with a hybrid work model of 2–3 days in the office per week.

You will work on end-to-end automation projects, integrate with APIs and databases, and support UAT, deployment and documentation while adhering to best practices and code reviews.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of hands-on experience building automation solutions including Document Understanding, AI-enabled automations and PDF processing.
• Design, develop, test and deploy RPA bots for end-to-end business processes.
• Strong knowledge of OCR, data extraction, validation and human-in-the-loop review.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy RPA bots for end-to-end business processes.
• Build Document Understanding solutions: document classification, data extraction, validation, human-in-the-loop review and model training/retraining.
• Automate PDF workflows, including reading, extracting, splitting, merging, filling forms and generating PDFs, with OCR for scanned documents.
• Develop AI-powered automations and agents using LLMs, prompts and tool integrations to handle decision-making and unstructured data.
• Build and maintain basic automations such as Excel, email, web, desktop, file handling and database tasks.
• Integrate bots with APIs, databases, and enterprise applications.
• Analyze business processes, gather requirements with stakeholders and prepare PDDs/SDDs.
• Implement robust exception handling, logging and reusable components following best practices.
• Support UAT, deployment and documentation, and follow version control and code review standards.

About the Role

We are looking for an RPA Developer with 3-4 years of hands-on experience building automation solutions, including Document Understanding, AI-enabled and agentic automations, and PDF processing. You will design, develop, test and deploy automations that remove manual effort, improve accuracy and speed up business processes.

Required Skills

• 3-4 years of professional experience in RPA development (UiPath preferred)
• Hands-on experience with Document Understanding (OCR, classification, extraction, validation, ML models).
• Experience with PDF automation (text/table extraction, form filling, PDF manipulation, scanned documents).
• Working knowledge of AI/LLM-based automation and agentic workflows (prompt design, agent orchestration, tool calling).
• Strong command of basic automation: Excel, Outlook/email, web and desktop UI automation, file/folder operations.
• Good understanding of the RPA lifecycle, RE Framework / queue-based design, Orchestrator and exception handling.
• Working knowledge of APIs (REST/JSON), SQL and basic scripting (Python, VB.NET or C#).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Good to Have

• RPA developer certification (e.g., UiPath Certified RPA Associate / Advanced Developer).
• Experience with Azure/AWS/Google AI services or Azure OpenAI.
• Exposure to Git, CI/CD and Agile/Scrum.
• Experience in finance, HR, supply chain, insurance or similar domains.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, Engineering or a related field.

Work Arrangement

• Hybrid model: 3 days a week in office, remaining days remote.
• Candidates should be able to join the office as per the schedule from day one.
