Job summary

Airbus India Private Limited is seeking an Electrical System Installation Engineer (Functional Electrics) for the Airframe. The role focuses on Architecture and Integration of ESI and MSI for the airframe, within the PDI framework.

You will work on concept studies, wiring diagrams, and system installation activities in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor or Master in Aerospace/Automotive/Mechanical Engineering with 3–6 years of experience in electrical

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Aerospace/Automotive/Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–6 years of experience in electrical system installation/Functional Electrics.
• Experience with ESI/MSI architecture and integration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate airframe electrical system installation strategies.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure conformance with Airbus processes.
• Drive KPI improvements and continuous enhancements in installation projects.

Role:

Electrical System Installation Engineer (Functional Electrics) - Airframe

Airframe Description:

Physical Design & Integration (PDI) team is responsible for Airframe Electrical System Installation (ESI) & Mechanical System Installation (MSI) Architecture and Integration activities. Within the PDI framework, Architecture & Integration involves the concept studies and architecture integration for System Installation areas.

Qualification & Experience:

Bachelor/ Master Degree in Aerospace, Automotive or Mechanical Engineering. 03-06 years of experience in electrical system installation/Functional Electrics and configuration Management

Technical Skills:

• Strong experience with SEE XP, CCD and Capital Toolsets for creation of Wiring Diagrams.


• Exposure to Mentor Graphics Capital Harness would be an added advantage.


• DMU understanding and navigation of Product Structure with clear understanding.


• Knowledge on Aircraft build process and basic understanding of Aircraft systems.


• Experience in TAKSY, GILDA and CIRCE Tools for database management.


• Good Project Management skills to drive the performance KPIs & improvements proactively.


• Good understanding of Aircraft Function, Operation & Processes.


• Awareness of Airbus processes & methods would be an added advantage.

• Very good communication and presentation skills


• Ability to demonstrate effectiveness in holding conversations with customers and customer‑centric outreach.


• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities and requirements.
