Job summary

Airbus India Private Limited is seeking an Electrical System Architecture Engineer to lead electrical load analysis and architecture reviews across commercial aircraft programs. You will work through the aircraft life cycle from early development to post-delivery, contributing to state-of-the-art initiatives.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, a degree in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering, and skills in MATLAB, Simulink, C++, Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level technical degree in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Experience with electrical systems analysis, architecture and CM/Change processes.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, C++ and scripting languages is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical load analysis for Airbus aircraft programs on time, cost and quality.
• Support electrical architectural studies and load list reviews.
• Analyze loads at busbar, TRU and generator levels; perform overload analysis.
• Create ELA documents/reports and respond to airline load analysis requests.
• Perform feasibility studies for modifications to electrical systems.
• Contribute to design, verification and qualification activities across programs.

JOB DESCRIPTION Electrical System Engineer Job Code: Electrical System Engineer As an Electrical System Architecture Engineer, you will be responsible for a host of activities like electrical load analysis, configuration management, defining /reviewing/analyzing electrical architecture. Your contribution will span through the entire aircraft life cycle starting from early development stages to post delivery of aircrafts. You will also be contributing to the state-of-the-art initiatives driven globally by Airbus.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivery of Electrical load analysis for all Airbus Commercial aircrafts on Time, Cost and Quality
• Support on Electrical architectural studies
• Reviewing/analyzing the electrical load list
• Analysis of loads at various levels (busbar level, TRU level, generator level) and overload analysis
• Support (and develop to support) detailed design and analysis reports including, o Load flow analysis o Voltage drop analysis o Protection selection o Inservice issues
• Creation of ELA document and ELA Report
• Analyze and reply various Airline Electrical load analysis requests
• Electrical structure network[ESN] analysis
• Feasibility studies for new modification proposals on electrical systems
• Define and perform trade off studies for various programmes
• Creation and maintenance of aircraft fleet allocation and configuration management

Allied Activities

• Initiate optimization studies and propose innovative solutions.
• Create collaboration topics to improve the process, methods and tools

Education

• B.Tech. / B.E. / M.Tech. / M.E. in Electrical / Aerospace Engineering.

Required Technical Expertise

• General awareness of aircraft and its systems
• Good understanding of engineering fundamentals and use of first principles.
• Good with mathematics and statistical analysis.
• Exposure to Aircraft Electrical System
• Good understanding of Configuration Management and Change process.

Additional Desired Skills

• Experience with systems engineering: defining requirements, experimental verification, and qualification procedures
• Experience in writing/interpreting coding languages (MATLAB, C++, Python, JavaScript) would be advantageous
• Proficient understanding and application of MATLAB and Simulink
• Experience with model in the loop, hardware in the loop, and software in the loop simulations
• Basics of data analytics and data science

Experience

• Preferable 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Training sessions will be conducted on different aspects of operations as needed
