Job summary

Ottonomy is seeking a passionate Robotics Technician to support the development and maintenance of our autonomous systems. You will work closely with our engineering team to wire, test, and troubleshoot hardware modules.

The role requires hands-on lab work, reading schematics, and applying IPC/PCB practices to ensure reliable sensor and controller performance across our platforms.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITI in ECE, EE or Instrumentation is required.
• Hands-on wiring, soldering, drilling and lab tool handling experience.
• Basic MCU and electronic component knowledge; PCB design and IPC standards.

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Robotics Technician to support the development and maintenance of our autonomous systems. Your work will directly contribute to the innovation and advancement of robotics technology, making a significant impact on everyday life for our end customers.

Skills Needed

• Diploma/ITI preferably in ECE, EE, or Instrumentation.
• Proven experience in the relevant field i.e. Robotics, industrial automation.
• Hands‑on experience in wiring, soldering, drilling, and other laboratory tools.
• Basic knowledge of MCU and electronic components, Circuit Design, PCB Design tool, PCB Layout, IPC standards for PCB, Embedded C, control system, and various types of microcontrollers and sensors.
• Basic knowledge about Signal integrity, EMC/EMI, PI, thermal analysis.
• Basic knowledge of main transmission protocols (TCP-TP, MQTT, SMTP, HTTP, FTP, GSM-GPRS, GPS, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, LoRa, SPI, I2C, UART, USB, RS 232, RS 485).
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
