Job summary

Openhouse is seeking enthusiastic teachers to conduct 1:1 robotics classes for children at their homes in and around Sarjapur, Bengaluru. Classes focus on robotics, electronics, problem-solving and basic coding through hands-on projects and activity-based learning.

Positions involve visiting students' homes, approximately 20 hours per week, with classes on weekdays and weekends. Training of about 15 days is provided, with salary paid during training and no fees for applicants.

The classes focus on helping children understand robotics, electronics, problem-solving and basic coding concepts through hands-on projects and activity-based learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging 1:1 robotics classes at students' homes using the Openhouse curriculum.
• Guide children through hands-on activities, building projects, practical electronics and basic coding concepts where applicable.
• Explain concepts in a simple and engaging manner based on the child's age and learning level.
• Track student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and the Openhouse team.
• Conduct trial classes for interested families when required.

Time Commitment

• Any 5 days a week, approximately 20 hours per week.
• Weekdays: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
• Weekends: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Note

• Location: Currently hiring for Sarjapur and nearby areas.
• Classes will be conducted at students' homes.
• Students will be assigned within nearby areas wherever possible to minimise travel.
• Candidates should be comfortable travelling locally.

If you get shortlisted, you will participate in our training program for technical and soft skills. The training period should ideally be 15 days; normal salary will be paid, and no fees are required from the candidate.
