About the Role
We are looking for a Robotics Systems Integration Engineer (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on robotics integration, autonomous systems, embedded technologies, and intelligent automation.
In this role, you will work with AI-generated outputs related to hardware-software integration, robotics architectures, sensor systems, communication protocols, embedded controllers, and system interoperability, helping improve how AI models understand and solve real-world robotics integration challenges.
You will collaborate with global AI and engineering teams to assess the technical accuracy, reliability, and scalability of AI-generated robotics solutions. Your contributions will directly enhance AI systems used for robotics automation, intelligent machines, and autonomous technologies.
Responsibilities
- Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain, including robotics integration workflows, system architectures, and automation strategies
- Annotate and evaluate AI-generated responses related to robotics systems integration and autonomous technologies
- Review peer-developed deliverables to enhance AI research quality and consistency
- Diagnose and solve real-world robotics integration and hardware-software interoperability challenges to improve AI reasoning capabilities
- Assess AI outputs for correctness, scalability, communication reliability, and operational performance
- Identify bugs, integration failures, synchronization issues, or hardware compatibility problems in AI-generated solutions and provide structured feedback
- Contribute domain expertise to improve AI models focused on robotics integration, embedded systems, and intelligent automation technologies
Requirements
- Background in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics, Embedded Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Strong understanding of robotics architectures, hardware-software integration, embedded systems, and automation technologies
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++
- Familiarity with ROS/ROS2, embedded Linux, communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet), and robotics simulation tools is preferred
- Experience with sensor integration, motor control systems, autonomous robotics, or distributed systems is a plus
- Ability to critically evaluate integration workflows, robotics architectures, and engineering solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
